Firefly Design Group’s extensive project documentation for National Association of Home Builders’ showcase home to be featured on HGTV Pro and CEDIA/HTA Case Study

Hollywood, Fla. – July 11, 2011 –Firefly Design Group, the premier design, engineering and consulting firm in the custom electronics industry, has been selected by Architectural Electronics, Inc. of Winter Park, Fla. as the exclusive design and engineering lead on The 2012 New American Home. Firefly Design Group will assist Architectural Electronics, as well as the project’s architect and builder, throughout the construction phase of the project by consolidating the vast amount of design information into an advanced, yet easy-to-understand project documentation package. Firefly Design Group’s documentation materials for The 2012 New American Home will include drawings and details on wiring plans, technical power plans, rack elevations, lighting control, schematics and CAD elevation details.

How many of you feel like email newsletters and marketing are getting out of control? Personally, more than half the emails I get are someone's spam; someone trying to sell me something. So many people are moving to email marketing that I am starting to question if the message can still get through. That is why I have taken a little hiatus from sending out our monthly newsletter...sorry for the delay, but I hope you have enjoyed the breather.

Congratulations are due to the many ESC's that are super busy right now. The good guys, the ones that have stuck through all the hard stuff over the past several years and made improvements to their business are actually pretty busy and focused on growth. I am not sure whether we are experiencing a small bump from pent-up demand or the setup to another downturn (as many in the news would have us believe), but a lot of our friends and clients are darn busy which in turn is making us darn busy. I like it!

This will only be your reality if you make it your reality. Some businesses will call 2011 their best ever while others will close their doors. Why will some succeed while others will fail?...The answer is sheer determination and hard work. If you watch the news and worry about Global events...Stop!
